Wildlife photography culling software

A faster first pass for demanding wildlife shoots.

SelectB is AI-assisted wildlife photography culling software designed for photographers who return from the field with thousands of similar frames and still want complete control over the final selection.

Why wildlife photography needs a specialised culling workflow

Wildlife shoots create a different review problem from portraits, weddings or studio sessions. A single encounter can produce long bursts, partially hidden subjects, changing eye contact, clipped wings, distracting branches and many frames that differ only by a fraction of a second.

SelectB is being built around that reality. It groups related frames, supports side-by-side comparison and presents AI recommendations as review guidance rather than irreversible decisions.

What SelectB evaluates during the first pass

  • Large RAW and JPEG folders from Nikon, Canon and Sony cameras.
  • Burst and sequence relationships between similar photographs.
  • Subject visibility, sharpness, eye quality and composition signals.
  • Duplicate and near-duplicate frames.
  • Photographer overrides before export.

Designed to fit before Lightroom

SelectB does not replace editing software. It shortens the repetitive selection stage before detailed editing begins. Ratings and selections can be exported through Lightroom-compatible XMP files, CSV reports and selected/review/rejected folders.

Photographer control remains central

The product philosophy is simple: AI recommends. You decide. Every recommendation remains reviewable. The photographer can compare images, change ratings and decide what moves forward.
